This triptych tells a story of resilience, connectedness and strength gained through motherhood. The interplay of movement, balance and intimacy invites the viewer to reflect on the transformative nature of these relationships, celebrating both the wild and nurturing aspects of life. The title references the concept of Maria’s immaculate and unstained conception, subverting its traditional meaning to explore the complexities and contradictions of maternal experience—marked not by purity, but by the tangible, often messy realities of care, sacrifice, and creation.
