CDMX - A grid
Glass and plaster patina, ca 139 cm x 173 cm, 2020

'CDMX scrapes - A dirty grid' is a portrait of Mexico City through material exploration. The black glass is covered with a white patina of plaster, which would normally be considered a dirty residue of the working process. In this case, the thin layer of plaster on the glass serves as the skin of the drawing, making the image visible and giving it a distinctive character.
